How do I ship my old media to Legacybox?
Once you place an order, we send you a reinforced, crush-proof Legacybox kit. Simply fill it with your tapes, film, and photos using the provided safety barcodes, and use the pre-paid UPS return shipping label to send it back to us.
What types of media can you digitize?
We specialize in a wide range of analog formats including VHS tapes, Mini-DV, 8mm film, 16mm film, 35mm slides, and paper photographs. Our state-of-the-art equipment ensures the highest quality digital conversion for almost any consumer media format.
Will I get my original tapes and photos back?
Absolutely. We return all of your original analog media along with your new digital files. Your memories are handled with the utmost care throughout the entire digitization process.
How long does the digitization process take?
Standard processing typically takes 10-12 weeks from the time we receive your media at our facility. This allows our technicians to carefully clean, convert, and quality-check every item in your order.
In what formats will I receive my digital memories?
You can choose to receive your digitized media via a secure Thumb Drive, a set of DVDs, or through our private 'Cloud' service, which allows you to download and share your videos and photos instantly.
Is my media safe during the shipping process?
Yes, our kits are designed for maximum protection and include round-trip tracking. You will receive email updates at every stage—from the moment your kit leaves our warehouse to the moment your digitized memories are headed back to your door.
